Abstract (en)
[origin: FR2778639A1] The dispenser to spray a liquid sample has a reservoir to hold the liquid and a spray outlet. The reservoir has a flexible wall (131) which can be pressed by a force (F) at right angles to its surface, to compress the reservoir and force the liquid out through the spray nozzle. The flexible wall (131) requires a given pressure level before it can be compressed. The material for the flexible wall (131) has a memory character, to reassert into its original condition when the pressure (F) is released. The flexible wall (131), on compression, forces a constant dosed vol. of the liquid through the nozzle. When at rest, the flexible wall (131) has a convex curvature, which can be depressed sharply and easily into a concave when under pressure (F). The flexible wall has a groove or reinforcement rib (132) to increase rigidity or define its circumference. The reservoir can hold a liquid and a gas, to give a biphase spray action through the nozzle. A jet has a porous retainer to soak in the liquid product, upstream of the spray nozzle. The spray nozzle is hermetically sealed by a button, before use. The reservoir is a thermoplastic shell formed by heat shaping, to give a flexible wall (131) and a protective film. Two shells can be used which, together, form the reservoir.
