[origin: WO9960350A1] A tensile load transmission that includes a load sensor for measuring the tensile load on the transmission. The transmission includes two elements (1, 5) which are mutually shape-bound with respect to tensile load. One of these elements includes a through-passing passageway and the other has a shaft which extends through said passageway and which also includes a head (7), said elements being mounted for relative rotation about the load direction. The head (7) and the first element (5) have mutually coacting parts between which pressure forces are transferred when the transmission is subjected to tensile load in the direction of said shaft. The load sensor has a central opening through which the shaft (2) extends.
