[origin: DE19941845C1] A plug for a flexible flat cable (FFC) has a contact surface (112) of the plug body (11) at which the cable (2) makes electrical contact with the contact pins (111), a locking bar (3) which mechanically fixes the cable (2) on the contact surface (112). At least two contacts (113) are arranged on opposite sides of the cable (2) on the contact surface (112) and each makes electrical contact to a contact pin (111) of the FFC (2). At least two counter-contacts facing the contacts (113) are arranged on the locking bar (3) and a short-circuit bridge (32) electrically joins the two counter-contacts (31).

Ein Stecker für eine flache Leitungsanordnung (2) weist zwei Kontakte 113 auf einem Steckerkörper (11) auf. Den Kontakten (113) ist jeweils ein Gegenkontakt (31) eines Riegels (3) zugeordnet. Die Gegenkontakte (31) sind über eine Kurzschlußbrücke (32) verbunden. Dadurch läßt sich die korrekte Auflage des Riegels (3) auf dem Steckerkörper (11) und somit die elektrische Kontaktierung mit dessen Kontaktstiften (111) überprüfen. <IMAGE>
