Abstract (en)

Disclosed is a voltage controlled oscillator which is prevented from generating an abnormal oscillation signal and realizes reduction in the number of parts used including a large part, a smaller structure as a whole, and a lower manufacturing cost. This voltage controlled oscillator comprises: an oscillation transistor (11) which operates by common-base connection and outputs an oscillation signal from the emitter; an amplification transistor (12) which operates by common-emitter connection and whose base receives the oscillation signal; and a resonance circuit (2) connected to the collector of the oscillation transistor. In the resonance circuit, an inductor (21) for resonance is connected in a d.c. circuit provided between the collector of the oscillation transistor and the emitter of the amplification transistor, and a capacitor for resonance is connected between the collector of the oscillation transistor and an earth point. <IMAGE>
