Abstract (en)

[origin: DE19814839A1] The invention relates to a method for producing rubber mixtures containing 1 to 500 parts in weight of one or more fillers which have been rendered hydrophobic, with a wettability by methanol >/=5 % by weight for 100 parts by weight of rubber. The invention is characterised in that said hydrophobic-rendered fillers are mixed with one or more rubber latex and in that the resulting mixture is treated. The invention also relates to rubber mixtures which can be produced according to said method as well as to their use for producing moulded bodies of any type or for producing tire treads.
