Die Erfindung betrifft Maßnahmen zur Lärmpegelabsenkung an tabakverarbeitenden Maschinen, insbesondere im Bedienungsbereich einer winkelförmig angeordneten Produktionslinie. Es ist das Ziel, das Bedienungspersonal wirksamer zu schützen. Erreicht wird dies dadurch, dass die der Maschine (29) zugeführte Saugluft überwiegend unterhalb der Maschine über schallgedämpfte Leitungsabschnitte (27) angesaugt wird. <IMAGE>
