Abstract (en)
Adjusting process for two screening elements (9) comprises transporting a metal strip (2) having a width (b), a center (5) and edge regions (6) on a roller table having a center (3) in a direction (x); screening a cooling medium (8) from the edge regions of the metal strip using the screening elements; and adjusting the elements asymmetrically with respect to center of the roller table so that the temperature course approximates to the theoretical temperature course in the transport direction. An Independent claim is also included for a roller table.

Verstellverfahren für zwei Abschirmelemente (9), wobei ein Metallband (2) mit einer Metallbandbreite (b), einer Bandmitte (5) und Randbereichen (6) auf einem Rollgang mit einer Rollgangmitte (3) in einer Transportrichtung (x) transportiert wird, wobei das Metallband (2) über die Metallbandbreite (b) einen Temperaturverlauf aufweist, wobei mittels der Abschirmelemente (9) ein Kühlmedium (8) von den Randbereichen (6) des Metallbandes (2) abgeschirmt wird, wobei die Abschirmelemente (9) derart verstellt werden, daß der Temperaturverlauf in Transportrichtung (x) gesehen hinter den Abschirmelementen (9) einem Solltemperaturverlauf angenähert wird, wobei die Abschirmelemente (9) bezüglich der Rollgangmitte (3) asymmetrisch verstellt werden. <IMAGE>
