Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1083010A2] Adjusting process for two screening elements (9) comprises transporting a metal strip (2) having a width (b), a center (5) and edge regions (6) on a roller table having a center (3) in a direction (x); screening a cooling medium (8) from the edge regions of the metal strip using the screening elements; and adjusting the elements asymmetrically with respect to center of the roller table so that the temperature course approximates to the theoretical temperature course in the transport direction. An Independent claim is also included for a roller table.
