[origin: EP1083029A1] The tool has a machine housing with a drive motor, a tool chuck connected to a driven spindle and a clamp lock for fixing the spindle to the housing. The clamp lock (30) automatically releases the spindle when torque is transferred from the drive motor to the chuck and clamps it if torque is transferred from the chuck to the drive motor. The tool has a torque-switched safety coupling (39) integrated into the clamp lock.
