[origin: EP1083309A2] The cooling circuit has a radiator connected to an engine via engine feed and outlet lines, a thermostat and a bypass valve in the outlet line and a circulating pump in the feed line. The bypass valve is integrated into the thermostat in the form of openings (20) in a working element (19) of the thermostat that is opened and closed depending on the coolant temp.
