[origin: DE19824604C1] The invention relates to a device for producing building boards from an aqueous binder/aggregate suspension. Said device comprises a rotating lower dewatering belt (2) which on the inlet side has a suspension accumulation area supplied by a supply device (1). The suspension accumulation area turns into an inlet gap between the lower dewatering belt (2) and a rotating upper dewatering belt (4). The inlet gap narrows in the direction of rotation of the belts. In the inlet area below the lower dewatering belt (2) a retaining plate (3) is positioned which prevents the dewatering of the accumulated suspension. The device is used for the rational production of building boards with improved structural isotropy and homogeneity. The device produces a continuous material web which in a continuous process can be processed into boards suitable for stacking and storage.
