[origin: WO0041040A1] The inventive device enables precious materials (such as crystal, sapphire, wood, stone, carbon, etc.) to be used in watchcase design without the need for highly sophisticated machining techniques. The set consists of an adornment (5) that surrounds the bezel of a traditionally designed watch (4). The adornment (5) is separated from the bezel (4) by elastic means (9) (10) that absorb shocks and avoid precise adjustment tolerances between the bezel (4) and the adornment (5), while at the same time guaranteeing full waterproofness. The invention makes it possible to cut production and assembly costs and offers various possibilities for decorating watchcases with original and new materials.
