Abstract (en)
A tensioner device (10) for imparting a rotational biasing force to the shaft (22) of a conveyor belt cleaner includes a biasing member (42). A first end (44) of the biasing member includes a first coupler member (68) and a second end (46) of the biasing member includes a second coupler member (48). The second end of the biasing member is adapted to be inserted into a bore in the shaft (22) of the conveyor belt cleaner such that the second coupler member (48) rotationally couples the second end of the biasing member to the shaft. The tensioner device includes a rotatable actuator member (60) having a recess adapted (66) to receive the first end of the biasing member. A lug extends inwardly into the recess and is adapted to engage the first coupler member (68) of the biasing member such that the first end of the biasing member is rotationally coupled to the actuator member (60) for conjoint rotation at least in one rotational direction. A locking member selectively engages the actuator member (60) to prevent unintentional rotation of the actuator member in at least one rotational direction. Rotation of the actuator member with respect to the second end of the biasing member stores a rotational biasing force in the biasing member that is applied to the shaft. <IMAGE> <IMAGE>
