Abstract (en)
The device (1) has a casing (2) fixed to the edge (3a) of a toilet bowl (3). Fans (6,7) are arranged between suction and fan openings, to draw the air out of the toilet bowl and over a filter (15) arranged in the casing, to remove at least part of the undesired smells. The suction and fan openings open into the toilet bowl, so that the air is conducted over the filter several times. Preferably the fans are arranged on either side of the filter.

Die Vorrichtung ist mit einem Gehäuse (2) versehenen, das an einem WC-Schüsselrand (3a) anzubringen ist. Das Gehäuse weist eine Ansaug- und eine Ausblasöffnung (4, 5) sowie ein zwischen diesen beiden Öffnungen (4, 5) angeordnetes Gebläse (6, 7) auf. Die Luft in der Schüssel (3) wird an der Ansaugöffnung (4) ansaugt und einem im Gehäuse (2) angeordneten Filter (15) zuführt, der die unerwünschten Geruchsstoffe wenigstens teilweise aus der Luft entfernt. Die Ansaugöffnung (4) als auch die Ausblasöffnung (5) münden in die WC-Schüssel (3) derart, dass die zu filtrierende Luft mehrmals durch den Filter (15) hindurchleitbar ist. Die Vorrichtung erreicht auch bei Batteriebetrieb eine hohe Leistung und ist einfach zu bedienen. <IMAGE>
