[origin: EP1085205A2] The device has at least two pressure chambers (7) arranged between a stator (1) and a rotor (2), which are connected to at least partly separated hydraulic channels (11,19,22) at common hydraulic connections (20,23). The pressure chambers can be expanded, loaded and compresses alternately, so that the rotor moves with respect to the stator. A control device controls the hydraulic fluid flow. A check device (33,39) is provided in a section of hydraulic channel of at least one pressure chamber that is not part of the other pressure chamber. The flow of hydraulic fluid from the pressure chamber is prevented using the check device.
