Abstract (en)

The vaporiser (1) has a porous heat-conducting vaporiser body (2) with a catalyst (5). A gaseous oxidation medium flows over one end (3) of the vaporiser body. The other end (4) of the vaporiser body is gas-impermeable. Fluid to be evaporated and any combustion material are supplied over the first end. Evaporation heat is generated by an exothermal reaction of the fluid or combustion material with the gaseous oxidation medium at the catalyst.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Verdampfen von Flüssigkeiten mit einem porösen, wärmeleitfähigen Verdampfungskörper (2), wobei der ein Katalysatormaterial (5) enthaltende Verdampfungskörper auf einer Oberfläche (3) von einem gasförmigen Oxidationsmittel überströmbar und auf der gegenüberliegenden Oberfläche (4) gasundurchlässig ist, wobei die zu verdampfende Flüssigkeit und gegebenenfalls ein zusätzliches Brennmittel zum Verdampfungskörper zuführbar ist, und wobei die benötigte Verdampfungswärme durch eine exotherme Reaktion der Flüssigkeit oder gegebenenfalls des zusätzlichen Brennmittels mit dem gasförmigen Oxidationsmittel an dem Katalysatormaterial bereitgestellt wird. <IMAGE>
