Planar transformers with compact electronics arranged in shock-proof mounting and particularly suitable for use in motor vehicles, have the primary and secondary windings (3a,3b) each designed as a folded electrical conductor (15) having a non-round cross-section. These electrical conductors (15) are formed from a metal strip or band, or as a sheet-metal part and at least one insulation layer is arranged parallel to the electrical conductor (15) and can be folded with the electrical conductor (15) in one working step.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine kompakte elektrische Vorrichtung mit einem Planartransformator zur Angleichung verschiedener elektrischer Spannungen zwischen einer elektrischen Schaltung und einer, mit einer Bezugsspannung verbindbaren Steckeinrichtung, wobei wenigstens eine Primärwicklung des Transformators mit der Steckeinrichtung und wenigstens eine Sekundärwicklung des Transformators mit der elektrischen Schaltung über Leiterbahnen verbunden ist, wobei die Primär- und die Sekundärwicklung wenigstens einen Teil eines Transformatorkerns umschließt. Zur vereinfachten Montage weist die elektronische Einrichtung einen Planartransformator auf, dessen Primär- und Sekundärwicklung (3a, 3b) jeweils aus einem gefalteten elektrischen Leiter (15) bestehen, welcher einen unrunden Querschnitt aufweist. <IMAGE>
