[origin: WO9956975A1] The present invention relates to a tire, and more particularly to a shock absorbing and puncture preventing tire for an automobile, a bicycle and/or other kinds of vehicles for transportation. The tire according to the present invention prevents leakage of air from inside the tire and punctures in the tread portion in case of travelling on something sharp with increasing the shock absorbing ability and removing the shock towards the rim flange portion at the tread portion by installing a series of perforations (1) penetrating the tread portion in axial direction from one lateral side to the other lateral side of the tire.
