[origin: WO9964500A1] The present invention pertains to a film or sheet or extruded profile having at least one layer comprising; (A) at least one substantially random interpolymer, which comprises; (I) polymer units derived from; (i) at least one vinyl aromatic monomer, or (ii) at least one aliphatic or cycloaliphatic vinyl or vinylidene monomer, or (iii) a combination of at least one aromatic vinyl monomer and at least one aliphatic or cycloaliphatic vinyl or vinylidene monomer, and (2) polymer units derived from at least one C2-20 alpha -olefin; and optionally (3) polymer units derived from one or more ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable monomers other than those of (1) and (2); or (B) a blend of Component A with at least one polymer other than that of Component A; and wherein said film or sheet or extruded profile has a force relaxation in the cross direction or machine direction or both of greater than or equal to 40 percent. The present invention also pertains to a multilayer film or sheet or extruded profile comprising at least two layers wherein at least one of said layers is a film or sheet or extruded profile having a force relaxation in the cross direction or machine direction or both of greater than or equal to 40 percent, comprising; (A) at least one substantially random interpolymer, which comprises; (1) polymer units derived from; (i) at least one vinyl aromatic monomer, or (ii) at least one aliphatic or cycloaliphatic vinyl or vinylidene monomer, or (iii) a combination of at least one aromatic vinyl monomer and at least one aliphatic or cycloaliphatic vinyl or vinylidene monomer, and (2) polymer units derived from at least one C2-20 alpha -olefin; and (3) polymer units derived from one or more ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable monomers other than those of (1) and (2); or (B) a blend of Component A with at least one polymer other than that of Component A.
