[origin: EP1087075A1] The anchor consists of an elongated body (5) such as a rod, screw, bolt or dowel, fixed in a wall (1) or other support. On the outside of the wall it has a head (4) engaging with a recess (10) in a spacer bush (9) shaped to receive an inverted U-shaped coupling member (12) on the safety fitment. The spacer bush is made, for exmaple, in the shape of a rolelr with a peripheral groove to receive the coupling.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de sécurité pour empêcher le glissement d'une échelle en appui sur une surface verticale par coopération d'organes de sécurité disposés respectivement sur le dispositif et dans la surface verticale. Selon l'invention, le dispositif est constitué d'au moins une traverse (10) solidarisable, aux dits montants (1) d'échelle en reliant les montants (1) d'échelle entre eux, cette traverse (10) portant au moins un organe de sécurité constitué d'un volet (12) pivotant autour de ladite traverse (10), ce volet (12) pivotant comportant une ouverture, cette ouverture (13) étant agencée pour se loger derrière la tête (18) d'un organe d'ancrage lors du positionnement de l'échelle équipée du dispositif, cet organe d'ancrage étant immobilisé dans l'épaisseur de la surface verticale (16) d'appui de l'échelle. <IMAGE>
