[origin: DE19826945A1] The invention relates to a method for preventing the wheels of a motor vehicle fitted with an electric drive mechanism from spinning, said motor vehicle having individually driven wheels and two non-driven wheels. The method is characterised in that the speeds (n1, n2) of the driven wheels are each detected by a sensor and compared with the speeds (r1=r2) of the two non-driven wheels in a comparator of an electronic circuit. In the event that a predetermined value delta by which one of the speeds (n1, n2) of the driven wheels exceeds the speed (r1=r2) of the non-driven wheels is exceeded, the drive torque for the driven wheel concerned is reduced.
