Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9966829A1] The invention relates to a device for examining ocular motility, comprising means (3) for displaying fixation light on a display surface (1), in addition to means (4) for determining the position of the head of an examined person and/or indicating means (2) that can be adjusted on the side of said person, indicating points of indication representing the subjective visual impression of the person thus examined on the display surface. Position sensors for adjustment and/or detection of the orientation and distance of the head of the person examined in relation to the display surface and/ or a sensor system detecting and determining the indicator position on the display surface are provided. Computerized means of evaluation are also provided, whereby information relating to the position of the head of the person examined with respect to the display surface and the position of the indicator point on the display surface is transmitted to said means of evaluation which evaluate said data in order to determine at least one ocular motility characteristic. The invention is used in the field of medicine for ocular diagnosis.
