Abstract (en)
A surface skimmer cleaner for open water, eg. ponds, pools, lakes etc. has a mesh drain with a fine mesh size and with a coarser mesh spaced around the drain to act as a coarse filter. The coarse mesh extends under the surface of the water to hold back animals as well as submerged debris. A simple coarse mesh comprises a net draped over the mesh drain and held above the water surface by a float or by a fixed support.

Eine Vorrichtung (10) zur Oberflächenabsaugung des Wasserspiegels (14) eines Gewässers (12) besitzt eine an einer Abflussleitung anschließbare Wasserüberlaufvorrichtung. Eine Laubfangvorrichtung (30, 34) ist vor der Wasserüberlaufvorrichtung so vorhanden, dass zumindest auf der Wasseroberfläche (14) des Gewässers (12) schwimmende größere Pflanzenteile (18) oder Tiere nicht in die Wasserüberlaufvorrichtung gelangen können. <IMAGE>
