Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1090756A1] The ink chamber (4) doctor blade (2) incorporates a doctor blade case (3) with an ink chamber and two doctor blades extending on both sides of a ink outlet. The doctor blade case is in the form of a replaceable cassette. Inside the ink-chamber is an externally operated sealing strip (10) movable between two positions. The sealing strip can rest against the inner edge surfaces of the doctor blade to close the ink-outlet.
