[origin: EP1091064A2] The lock has a nut, which operates at least one connecting rod (14,15) through at least one carrier (6) and a transmission or gear mechanism. The carrier engages a linear slide (7), which has a slot (10) in the sliding direction to carry a gear (9). The gear engages a toothed rack (11) parallel to the slider on one side and a toothing (12) parallel to the slider on the connecting rod or a connecting rod connection slider (13) on the other side.
