Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1091077A2] A lifting door, especially designed as a sectional door, has several hinge-like sections connected together to a door panel that is sealed and guided at the posts bounding the door opening at the sides. It can be raised and lowered by a rotating drive drum located above the door panel. The sealing (28) is designed as a chamber system and consists of at least one heated chamber (29) and an air chamber (30). The heated chamber is located near to the posts (2) as a closed hollow profile and is provided in its hollow space with heating wires (31). On the side faces of the hollow profile of the heated chamber, attached flexible tongues form the air chamber.
