Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1091103A1] The cooling system includes at least one first temp. sensor (7) for determining the coolant temp. at the radiator output, the output signal of which is supplied to a control unit (8). The control unit with a change of a first operating condition, with which the coolant flow must be led through the thermostatic valve (6) next only through the short circuit line (5), to a second operating condition, with which the coolant flow through the thermostatic valve must be released at least partly over the radiator (2). Also monitored whether a rise of the coolant temp. begins at the radiator output.
