Abstract (en)
The braided cord (1) has a main cord structure (2) with an additional grip (5) using at least one gripping section (6). The gripping section (6) is incorporated into the main cord structure (2), along a length section (7), to form a bulge (8) of an increased dia. around the main cord (2) at intervals. The main cord (2) is formed by braiding the main strands (3). The additional gripping section (6) has complementary gripping strands (9) interlaced or braided into the cord between the main cord strands (3).
