Abstract (en)

The arrangement has a horizontal conveyor passing through a housing in a defined direction and supporting elements for both large surfaces of panels during transit defining a traveling plane containing the supported surfaces. Nozzles directed against the surfaces from both sides pass air along walls joined to the nozzle openings extending from the nozzles in the opposite direction to the conveyor movement and parallel to the traveling plane. The arrangement has a horizontal conveyor passing through a housing in a defined direction, supporting elements (8) that support the panels (30) on both large surfaces during transit to define a traveling plane in which the supported surfaces lie and opposing nozzles (10,10a,14,14a) directed against the surfaces from both sides of the plane. Walls (12,16,42,46) joined to the nozzle openings extend from the nozzles in the opposite direction to the conveyor movement and approximately parallel to the traveling plane. The nozzles pass air along the walls.

Beschrieben wird eine Vorrichtung zum Trocknen von gewaschenen Glastafeln (30) im Durchlauf mit einem Gehäuse (2, 3), mit einem Waagerechtförderer, welcher durch das Gehäuse (2, 3) hindurchführt und eine vorgegebene Förderrichtung (28) hat, mit Stützelementen (8, 17, 17a), welche dem Waagerechtförderer zugeordnet sind, die Glastafeln (30) beim Fördern an einer ihrer beiden Großflächen stützen und dadurch eine Laufebene (29) definieren, in welcher die gestützte Großfläche der Glastafeln (30) liegt, und mit einander gegenüberliegenden, von beiden Seiten der Laufebene (29) her gegen diese gerichteten Düsen (10, 10a; 14, 14a). Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, daß sich an die Mündung (11, 15) der Düsen (10, 10a; 14, 14a) jeweils eine Wand (12, 16, 42, 46) anschließt, welche sich annähernd parallel zur Laufebene (29) und sich ausgehend von der jeweiligen Düse (10, 10a; 14, 14a) entgegen der Förderrichtung (28) erstreckt, und daß die Düse (10, 10a; 14, 14a) so ausgebildet und / oder ausgerichtet ist, daß die aus ihr austretende Luft an der Wand (12, 16, 42, 46) entlangströmt. <IMAGE>
