Abstract (en)

The shell case base for a large calibre munition has a cup (8) with a central opening (11) attached to the end of the case (2). A support tube (18) is fixed to the cup by a threaded cap (12) and has a cylindrical section (19) to receive the outer base (3) bore (5). The base is fixed to the tube by a ring nut (20). The support tube can be formed by the fuse.

L'invention a pour objet un dispositif de solidarisation d'un culot obturateur (3) pour une munition notamment de gros calibre avec un étui combustible (2). L'étui porte ou présente une cuvette (8) dotée d'une ouverture centrale (11). Le dispositif est caractérisé en ce qu'un moyen support (18) est fixé à la cuvette (8) par un premier moyen de liaison (12), moyen support affectant la forme d'une tige comportant une portée cylindrique (19) sur laquelle vient se positionner un alésage (5) du culot (3), le culot étant rendu solidaire du moyen support par un deuxième moyen de liaison (20). <IMAGE>
