Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a ferrule (10) of a cable connector where the ferrule (10) can be compressed around an electrical cable inside the connector and later released from said cable without appreciable irreversible deformation of the ferrule (10) so that this can be reused a number of times. This characteristic of the ferrule (10) is obtained by providing the ferrule (10) with a number of narrow slots (28) in the circumferential wall (18) of the ferrule (10) providing the ferrule (10) with a form corresponding to an endless meander band. <IMAGE>
