Provided is a writing instrument having an ink tank part for storing ink, wherein an ink 11 contained in the ink tank part 31 comprises an ink component 12 and a layer-separative component 13 which separates to be a layer from the ink component 12; both of a specific gravity and a surface tension of the layer-separative component 13 are smaller than those of the ink component 12; and the ink 11 can freely move in the ink tank part 10.
