Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1094100A1] It is an object to keep a level of an odorant at a detectable level upon leakage of a refrigerant contained in a refrigerating system of a refrigerant compression type in a refrigerating/air-conditioning field in which a hydrocarbon refrigerant blended with the odorant is used. The present invention provides a refrigerant composition which includes at least one selected from ethane, propane, cyclopropane, propylene and iso-butane, and the composition contains ammonia as the odorant in the range between 1 % and 60 % by weight and preferably between 1 % and 20 % by weight. <IMAGE>
