Abstract (en)
A self supporting building panel for constructing walls and ceilings has an inner wooden frame (2) to support the structure and with an outer cladding of lightweight concrete (3). The concrete is bonded to the wooden frame by connecting inserts (4) which are cast into the concrete. Cable ducts and other services are incorporated into the concrete, which does not require any internal reinforcing. The inner face of the panel is fitted with an insulating cladding and the panel has an inner damp proofing layer.
