[origin: EP1094430A2] A multi-sectional label (1) for applying contents information to e.g. blister packaging, comprises a base element (4) with openings (3), which enables the label to be attached to the packaging. The openings are lined up with the packaging holding areas. The minimum size of the opening is chosen so as to allow a single object to pass through, and the maximum size is chosen so that slat sections remain between the openings, which ensure good attachment to the cover film. One or more information carriers are fixed to the base element.
