Abstract (en)
The method involves associating several fluorescent cells with different fluorescent layers with each pixel and generating a drive voltage for the electrodes of each cell with drive electronics. The drive voltages associated with a pixel for the fluorescent cells are delayed relative to each other to compensate for the different response times of the different fluorescent materials. A cell has red, green and blue fluorescent materials in three fluorescent cells. Independent claims are also included for the following: an arrangement for driving a plasma display.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Ansteuerung eines Plasmadisplays, bei welchem jedem Pixel des Displays drei Leuchtstoffzellen zugeordnet sind. Die erste dieser Zellen weist eine rote, die zweite eine grüne und die dritte eine blaue Leuchtstoffschicht auf. Mittels einer Ansteuerelektronik wird jeweils eine Ansteuerspannung für die Elektroden der Zellen erzeugt Die einem Pixel zugehörigen Ansteuerspannungen für die Elektroden der Zellen werden zur Kompensation unterschiedlicher Ansprechzeiten der verschiedenfarbigen Leuchtstoffe relativ zueinander verzögert. <IMAGE>
