[origin: WO0001909A1] The present invention relates to a device for guiding and locking a casement in a window-frame, the device comprising pistons (10, 11, 10', 11') which are extendable from and retractable into the casement and arranged in corner portions of the casement in order to engage in a locked position one groove each of the frame. When the window is locked, the pistons (10, 11, 10', 11') are in a partly extended position for engaging the frame, and the pistons (10', 11') located on a first casement side are connected to a first link construction (2'), while the pistons (10, 11) located on the opposite casement side are connected to a second link construction (2). The two link constructions (2, 2') are arranged adjacent to a turning member (15) for simultaneous motion of the link constructions (2, 2') in opposite directions of motion, said motion causing one pair of opposite pistons (10, 10') to be moved from a partly extended to a completely retracted position, while the other pair of opposite pistons (11, 11') is moved from a partly extended to a completely extended position, or vice versa, for opening and closing the window.
