A building element system for beds, esp water beds, comprises an outer frame profile (10) which can be connected to other profiles to form an edge section. The frame profile consists of hollow plastic members.

Bei den bekannten Bauelementsystemen für Bettrahmen besteht zum einen das Problem, daß zur Erzielung des sogenannten Soft-Side-Effektes relativ viel Schaumstoff verwandt werden muß und daß die Bettrahmen nicht ohne weiteres farblich verändert werden können. Es wird ein Bauelementsystem vorgeschlagen, das formstabile untere Rahmenprofile (10) und obere Rahmenprofile (12) umfaßt, die im bestimmungsgemäßen Montagezustand eine elastische Sitzkante bilden, wobei die unteren Rahmenprofile als Hohlkammer-Kunststoffrahmenprofile ausgebildet sind, an welchen die oberen Rahmenprofile unter Zwischenschaltung von Befestigungsmitteln (28, 30) derart befestigbar sind, daß der Rand eines Bettlakens zwischen die oberen und unteren Rahmenprofile gesteckt werden kann. Ein für ein solches Bauelementsystem geeignetes unteres Rahmenprofil (10) ist zur Aufnahme von Dekorplatten (14) ausgebildet. <IMAGE>
