[origin: EP1095648A1] The whirlpool aeration device has an air exit jet incorporated in the bath wall, with an associated fan having a hollow fan shaft (1) driven by an electric drive motor, its open ends providing the air entry and exit openings (3,4). The interior of the fan shaft is provided with fan blades (2), the fan shaft acting as the rotor of the electric motor, the jet housing (6) acting as the motor stator.
