[origin: EP1095704A1] The electrostatic aerosol forming machine has a wick (4) to disperse micro-droplets and fed by capillary action. The wick is in contact with an electrode (7) under high voltage. The wick is made of a material with high electrical resistance to maintain a low current flow, and is placed in a chamber (1). The lower end of the wick is held in a bowl (5) extending through the wall of the chamber.
