Abstract (en)
[origin: FR2793422A1] The heel section for a ski binding has a jaw (6,7) mounted on the ski by a pivot (11) with two curved side arms (9,10) moving around an axis (12). The axis is located at the end of the upper branch (9',10') of the curved arms so that the jaw is suspended downardly with respect to the axis and springs (8) are placed under the axis. The pivot axis co-operates with a guide ramp (19) and also forms the axis of an actuating lever (15) co-operating with the jaw.
