[origin: DE19922520A1] The wiper blade has a main bracket (12) which has a box (16) with two side cheeks (28). There is a joint bolt (42) between these side cheeks, for fixing to a wiper arm. The joint bolt is formed from a bolt cast onto the box. The bolt may have a core cast in one piece with the box and may be plated to reinforce it.
