[origin: WO0005523A1] The invention relates to a mounting device for shafts or for racks in steering gears. The device comprises a sleeve-shaped shank and a guiding piece which is located at the end of said shank. The shank supports a ring-shaped, inwardly oriented collar at one end, said collar being moulded-on in a single piece. The guiding piece grips the shank in a positive fit.
