Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0973104A1] The method is for outputting an unsuccessful access message during an attempted access to data of a data-bank system. The data bank system is set to a filter condition comprised of several logically interlinked selection conditions for specifying the output data. The selection conditions are each assigned a failure weighting. When the filter condition is not fulfilled, the most important unfulfilled selection condition and/or the assigned decisive failure weighting is determined. This is done on the basis of comparing the failure weighting for the unsuccessful attempt. The derived unsuccessful access message is then outputted.
