Abstract (en)
A skateboard with improved handling has a tubular support frame with a large front wheel (3) mounted between front forks and steerable about a castor angle. The rear of the board has either a large single rear wheel held between rear forks or has two rear wheels. The front wheel can be a double design and the rear wheels are braked by a foot operated brake. The support platform is low slung and set below the level of the tops of the wheels.

Rollbrett (1) mit einer vorderen und hinteren in einem Fahrgestell angeordneten, zueinander sowie zu einer Trittplatte (11) parallelen Radachse, auf denen jeweils mindestens ein Rad (3; 5) gelagert ist, wobei das Fahrgestell eine vordere Radaufhängung umfaßt, welche in Fahrtrichtung vor der vorderen Radachse angeordnet ist derart, daß ein Vorderrad (3) oder Vorderradpaar in Nachlaufführung lenkbar gelagert ist, wobei die vordere Radaufhängung eine gegenüber der vertikalen nach vorn geneigte, senkrecht zur Vorderachse verlaufende und annähernd in deren Höhe gehalterte Lenkachse (A4) aufweist. <IMAGE>
