[origin: EP1097956A1] A polycarbonate resin causing low endocrine disruption obtainable by reaction of a carbonic acid ester-forming compound with bisphenols consisting essentially of 9,9- bis (4-hydroxy-3-methylphenyl) fluorene and a bisphenol compound(s) having a polysiloxane skeleton, the intrinsic viscosity of said polycarbonate resin being 0.2 to 2.0 dl/g.
