Utilizing fuel, residual material and waste material comprises completely vaporizing the material with the direct or indirect introduction of heat and adding as vapor to the gasification reactor. An Independent claim is also included for an apparatus for carrying out the above process comprising a pre-vaporizing chamber (14) for water vapor and feeds (3) for the fuel, residual material and waste material. Preferred Features: Vaporization of the fuel, residual material and waste material occurs with water vapor which is added with the completely vaporized material to the reactor.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Verwertung von Brenn-, Rest- und Abfallstoffen durch Vergasung im Flugstrom unter normalem oder erhöhtem Druck bei Temperaturen größer 900 °C, vorzugsweise zwischen 1100 bis 1600 °C, mit einem, freien Sauerstoff enthaltenden Vergasungsmittel, bei dem die Brenn-, Rest- und Abfallstoffe durch direkte oder indirekte Wärmezufuhr vollständig verdampft und dampfförmig dem Vergasungsreaktor zugeführt werden und Vorrichtungen zur Durchführung des Verfahrens. <IMAGE>
