Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1098158A1] The installation for the control of cleaning solids circulating in a heat exchanger (10) comprises a solid interception means (17) interposed in the exchanger outlet pipe (12). A pump (24) produces a counter flow through the interception means and its suction recovers the cleaning solids held by it. Return piping (28) recycles a return flow containing solid cleaning elements to the exchanger inlet pipe (11). A concentration device, comprising a pivoting grille (35), divides the return flow into two parts (P1,P2). The first part contains all the solid cleaning elements and the second part contains no cleaning solids.
