[origin: WO0003619A1] The invention relates to a personal grooming implement (1), such as a toothbrush, comprising a segmented, articulating head attached at one end to a handle, the segments being disposed longitudinally along the head and jointed to each other by an elastomer which is preferably fused to each segment. The joint nearest the free end of the head has a groove (11) on its upper surface to improve its flexibility relative to the other joints, thus providing for more uniform bending of the head.
