Abstract (en)
[origin: DE19832126A1] Edging stones for separating a paved area (10) from a non paved area e.g. grassed area, (11), are shaped to provide a shallow surface drain (22) along the edge of the paved area. The edging stones have raised edges (23) to line the paved area and to provide stops to prevent wheels from rolling off the paved area. The raised edges have gaps with profiled lateral drains to divert surface water away from the paved area. The edging is assembled from a number of profiled concrete blocks and has rounded edges to provide a smooth appearance.
